My journey into haberdashery and notions began with a deep appreciation for tactile beauty and traditional craftsmanship. I found myself constantly searching for unique finishing details that go beyond mass-produced options and offer genuine soul. Realising other makers were hunting for the exact same pieces, I decided to build the source myself.

While Embellish & Thread is a full haberdashery at heart, we are intentionally starting with a specialised focus on buttons. Whether you are looking for a delicate pearl closure to soften a knit, a heavy brass fastener to anchor a winter coat, or something vibrant for a cardigan, the right button changes everything.
